There is a tradition in our household that occurs on the first snowfall of every year..... the annual "Sarah must slip off the driveway while backing out and wreck the grass with the car" ritual. Seriously, I do have the 1-800-justify excuse here in that our driveway is not only long and sloped against my favor but, everyone drives on the grass at some point while visiting. I figure if folks know that I do it all the time, they will not feel as bad when they add their own tire marks to the grass.... I am being a good hostess right?
At any rate, Thanksgiving morning we were greeted with a little over 2 inches of the beautiful white shroud here in Michigan (awesome packing snow that the kids could hardly wait to play in). I figured I would share some views from our front porch on a day I know my husband is thankful for (wink). Enjoy.

The almost 12 inch deep ditch I created
My husband after he noticed the tracks... thanks to my son Ben for capturing the moment.
My sons literally 5 minutes after seeing the snow Thanksgiving morning....yes, they were in such a hurry that those are *socks* on their hands instead of their gloves. Creative, well yes....smart, well not exactly.
My Daughter not only was perfectly coordinated, her stuffed puppy, Diva, was as well.
What a cutie pie picture in pink!
