Hi Sarah -
After meeting you on your way to teach the altered shoe class in Novi, I knew I had to check you out. WOW!
Finding even a small area in a shop that has artsy stuff is like finding an oasis. Often for me, it isn't the price as much as it is the "fit" in my realm of possibilities.
Attending the classes and shopping at the convention recharged me. Being with like minded people inspired me. I realize to continue to grow with my art, I will have to search for tools and similar souls farther from home. No worthwhile journey is ever easy.
On a positive note, Rubber Wonderland, the stamp store that was closing in Bay City, has been sold. Maybe, just maybe, there will come a day when the tools of creativity aren't considered a luxury, but a staple in all our lives and, as such, are close at hand.
I look forward to what you share next. Take care - Denise
